Mesobotox means facial rejuvenation using an injection application of a mesotherapeutic solution and botulinum toxin in high dilution into skin.

Mesobotox is a cosmetic procedure that can reduce fine lines and wrinkles, resulting in smoother, younger-looking skin. The technique can also reduce pore size and oil production and decrease facial sweating. Because the botulinum toxin concentration is lower in the case of mesobotox, the effect is also different than with the application of botulinum itself into a muscle for smoothing out dynamic, mimic wrinkles. This procedure is similar to Anti Wrinkles injections in that you’ll receive botulinum toxin injections in your skin. Mesobotox, however, uses a microneedle and a small amount of diluted Botulinum. The Botulinum is injected in a wider distribution throughout your face. Mesobotox is applied into the surface skin layer, not into muscles, whereby the original mimicry is preserved, however, fine wrinkles may be smoothed out and it also results in slight reduction of sebum production and sweating, as well as reduction of pores in the treated area. The dilute botulinum can be combined with mesotherapeutic solution containing various components, such as non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, amino acids, peptides and growth factors, so the skin is hydrated and revitalized.

New Evidence support the use of Mesobotox for a flawless smoother skin.

A new study published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery has suggested that intradermal botulinum toxin injection, or microbotulinum, is a safe and effective method to treat skin flaws.

The authors of the study were from the Rigeneralab Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Pegaso University.  They state in their conclusion that, “The results of this pilot study suggest that intradermal botulinum toxin injection, or so-called microbotulinum, is a safe and effective method to treat skin flaws affecting texture and microroughness and to reduce enlarged pore size.” The added, “It is to be preferred in middle-aged patients, between 36.5 and 53 years, looking for middle-term results, as the here-considered follow-up period does not extend beyond 120 days. Because of the high satisfaction rate among both physicians and patients, further studies are indeed mandatory to determine the optimal number of units needed for a longer and lasting effect with this particular novel dilution.”
